Netscape Navigator uses the same Gecko engine as Firefox 2 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv: Gecko/20071015 Firefox/ Navigator/9.0) and is available for Windows, Mac OSX or Linux. Further since it is based on Firefox 2, extensions are cross-browser compatible. Any Firefox 2 extension will work with Netscape Navigator 9 as will a Netscape Navigator 9 extension work with Firefox 2.
