I don’t recall off hand where in the Betas I had made the switch to Firefox 2 as my default browser. Since I been hearing how good (and for the most part stable) Firefox 3.0 Betas are now, I am going to make the switch over very soon.

The Book of Mozilla, 7:15
"And so at last the beast fell and the unbelievers rejoiced. But all was not lost, for from the ash rose a great bird. The bird gazed down upon the unbelievers and cast fire and thunder upon them. For the beast had been reborn with its strength renewed, and the followers of Mammon cowered in horror."

Except that if you’re using a Mac, it appears that ever since firefox 3b4 (with the new user interface), the forward and back buttons don’t work. I’m still using Firefox 3b3 because of that.
I hope they figure it out soon….
I switched a week or so ago… mostly happy with the performance but I miss most of my (incompatible) extensions. Haven’t tried b4 with OS X yet, but b3 works well.
Nevermind — it looks like some extensions were the cause…I retract my previous comments.
Firefox 3 ROCKS!
