A Look Back At Fx 2 Schedule

With Fx 3a7 Released, I wanted to give our readers a better idea as to where we were last year in regards to Firefox 2. It took some hunting through my blog, the CyberNet Blog and the Mozilla FTP Server to find the release dates of the milestones for Fx 2:

Fx2 Release History (all dates are 2006):

• Alpha 1 – March 17th
• Alpha 2 – May 13th
• Alpha 3 – May 27th
• Beta 1 – August 29th
• Beta 2 – August 31st
• Release Candidate 1: September 26th
• Release Candidate 2: October 6th
• Release Candidate 3: October 16th
• FINAL: October 24th
