I had stated in my Browser Smörgåsbord entry…
“Flock 0.7.6- Mozilla, the same people who brought you Firefox and Netscape also designed Flock, the social web browser.”
Turns out the Guru made a bit of mistake as I learned when I received this comment regarding the entry from Will Pate, Community Ambassador, Flock:
“FYI, Flock is entirely separate from Mozilla, although we proudly build our web browser on top of Firefox.“
I guess I should have paid more attention to the pop-up when selecting ‘About Flock’, from the Help Menu…
Oh yeah, it does say Flock Inc., not Mozilla. Thanks Will for setting the record straight!
